16 with a little delay where tracks merge. But this never happen yet, the trick is to keep the exit tracks empty. 8)

For these who don't want to kill their ergonomy by demolate all these roads, I have done it for you.

EDIT: save game name in load menu: Frank Transport.

this is at this time my final version. It can handle about 60 trains. But there are sometimes small jams.

Well, I've finally got all the original industries connected and 4 cities with about 110 trains in all. The junction isn't holding out to bad, but all the main tracks have a lot of traffic on them as can be seen in the map screenshot. I expanded the original junction a little bit to take the 8 square length trains a bit better. However, I'm thinking of expanding the branches of the junction like shown in the map screenshot to take more trains, but I don't think it matters as the exits are still restricted. I do, however, have a rating of about 970 and most industries have a very high rating.

Well... I already see one forest isn't conneted (It's west of the junction) which was in the original as well.

Anyway, here's my junction at the moment (I might decide to redesign it).
Note, that I haven't connected all industries yet.
Also included a zip file for you to see the development...

I had a nice junction, running freely with everything connected.

Unfortunately my HD died about half an hour after finishing it :x
I'll post it if I can recover it.

Untill now my one junction is doing just fine, but slowly delays start to be frequent, not at the entrance but at the exit sides.

The company is doing fine, have a rating of 1000 with just 113 trains and ZERO busses or trucks. 8)

here is my junction for so far. I'm ust started and I only have 5 trains running now. I used the version without the roads.
My junction Is easy but it works.

I have a question to. if you look at my steel mill you see there are two stations one for ore deposit and ne for steel pick up. When a train anters the ore depot he only pics the platform witch is straight ahead of the line in. the dont chose other free platforms so when a train is in the station the other trains wait. how do i get rid of this?

use two-way signals

????? Why two way signals that will never work in a network with a large amount of trains. or you need a 1000 by passes.

I think you missed his part, or didnt follow it or something, just look at this station,

there where the trains goes in, are 2-way signals, where the trains leave, are just 1-way signals again :)

you ment my station?

lol no, it is ment that way, it will solve it, trains will not stop on a track that is acupied, but will just move to the next, to see if there is room, if there isnt room, it will move to the next next one
if all tracks are full, the train will wait for the pre-signal before all entrances

sorry, cant explain it better

Yes english is no dutch :D:D

But there is still a problem remaining trains go back at the station and then switch lanes and go through the exit

do you get what I ment??

(treinen gaan terug op de IN lijn en draaien daar 180 graden een andere lijn op en gaan dan pas langs de uitgang weg) (Sorry for the dutch its the same as the english above but with more details)
