Mauro, I'm not sure if you received my last message, because I still haven't got an answer. Maybe that's because it was an edit and you didn't see any new unread messeges. That's why I'm now posting a new message.

But back to the question: Do you already have edited my Benelux Graphics, may I see them and may I (and the rest of the NS-team) use it for the NSset?

Purno,

I did some travelling during the past month, and work for college is eating away all my spare time right now. Sorry... :( I'd love to do some work at the Belgian Set but i just can't find time for it at this moment

So, to answer your question: i haven't done any graphics, and when i do you will be the first to see them :P

Two. The Dutch Trainset will include two different doubledeckers. The more the better isn't it?

Mauro, it seems that you're the only one working on this Belgian Trainset.

If you need any help, let me know.

I'm not a great programmer or drawer, but I volunteer to look up the tech specs for the set. I have got some books on our railways.

Hey guys,

As you surely would have noticed I didn't have the time to work on this set in the last 2 months. The forthcoming month won't be any better i'm afraid because my exams will start in 2 weeks.

So it would really be a good idea to start this project again with a new force :P

Purno, you could look at the list on the website what still has to be done, and start drawing whatever you like. I'll try to bundle my completed graphics and send them to you as soon as i find some time. This should make it easier to keep the graphics consistent... (like using the same bordeaux tint etc.)

Rogier, now it should be possible to add some more trains to the list. I'm sure you will have lots of inspiration on what trains are the most important to be added!

I'll return to this forum this evening...

Mauro, Is every engine that doesn't have a sprite preview in the website (in your sig) still not drawn?

Because I would like to try to draw the Shunter Type 82!

As you probably know from the NS-set topic, i started the thalys some time ago, but it's not finished yet. The others still need to be drawn.
good luck with that shunter!

Purno, will you ever cease to amaze us... Brilliant shunter, maybe the long nose is one pixel too long, but that's details...

As to the trains which will be included in the NMBS-set, I think Mauro's site covers the modern belgian trains quite well. The only thing that needs to be done is to draw the older (green) liveries of some of the loco's and the trainsets. Worthwile additions might be the 20 and 29 electric locos and the 59, 51, 52-54, and 77 diesel locos. The 55 is not so necessary because it closely resembles the 62 and is basically a 52 with a different body.

Regarding steam loco's, we have to decide when the game starts. We could include the types 1, 18, 36 and 29 steam loco's. There are more, and I could look some up if there should be a need for them. The 1935 electric trainsets and perhaps an older diesel trainset could also be a nice addition.

If you need anything, just let me know and I'll look it up

The game starts in 1921. It's not possible to make it start any earlier, and it's silly to make it start later.

aaargh, just typed a long message and then it was lost... i'll try again in short

Nice work, Purno!!

Just a few remarks though. The green of the top of the engine looks a bit too bright i think. Is it actually green in reality? 'cause i would expect it black or at least dark green (can't find a picture showing the roof). And maybe you can make it a bit more "dirty". Fits better on a shunter, i feel. but thats probably just a personal opinion.

Rogier, those engines would fit very well in the list! I'll try to update the website with pictures this weekend. 'cause we'll have to be fast if we want too keep up with Purno ;)

I've just made the green 'roof' darker in a few seconds

Is this better?

Could anyone post a list of all the loco data you need to put in the .nfo file? Weight, speed, power and such, so that I can go to work on research. Thanks!

You might need more info, but you need this anyway:

TopSpeed
Weight
HorsePower
Capacity
Building Costs
Design Year

and info about the liveries, if we use that.

Look in the US set spreadsheet: it's on page 84 or something of the thread. That has so much data that it produces its own action 0 and 4s.

Purno, i like the new version better.

I've updated the site with the pictures of the new trains added to the list. Purno, the graphics you made (shunter 82 and the benelux class 11) are on the site too now.

For the specs, the only thing i researched is the introduction date. The list is now ordered according to introduction date, no longer by "motor"-type. I leave the other data for the experts, rogier ;)

Go and take a look at it: http://users.pandora.be/jwijnants/ttd

ciao ciao,
