Discuss which sets should be finished first

Post by Colonel32 »

I suggest a new topic, instead of discussing it in "Czech trains"

I thing that the first two sets finished should be the US set and especialy the Planeset. because there are at least eight local (by country) trainsets under development, the DBxl is already finished, newships are finished, some newcars are finished, but there are still no new Planes.

Remove "Alpine set" because it's not a community project. We can't bring that about any more quickly. Oh, and you can edit polls.

Re: alpine set

It truly is not a forums project, but the CSDset is neither.
some sets are almost finished, some almost aren't started.
The discussion as about what SHOULD be finished, the poll is which one is your favorite.

Hope it makes sense.

The ones I'm most looking forward to are
1. BR Set (I'm British)
2. Planeset
3. US Set

I voted for Belgian Set :P

But I'm affraid that it wont't be finished pretty soon, because I'm so busy right now, and it seems like I lost my motivation a bit :?

But don't worry, it will come back soon... Especially when it's possible to play with the US set during summer. I'm sure it will create a whole new type of gameplay. So i would like to see this set finished as soon as possible! Good luck, guys!

We should stick to the forum projects, simlpy because if everyone says "the alpine set should be first", we can't do anything. OTOH, if the majority says "we should finish the BR set first", we can do something about that.

I like the Japenese set because of fastness and sleekness of their trains.
I like the Planeset because of the Planes.
I also like the US Set because it's the US Set (Not much of a reason.....eh?)

Well I have to say I'm glad you dont' like the planeset for the hovercraft - it saves me an explanation where I'd need to be careful not to patronise you!

Alpine Set by Michael, but It will be very hard because I can't support him anymore with necessary patches so all works the "right" way...

I'd like to see the PlaneSet the most.
The reason is that there are already train sets published, which I can use in the meantime other sets come out. But there is no replacement for the planes at this time. I'm really bored with the original ones, and there are so good ideas introduced in it...

I'm really looking forward to have that Dutch Trainset finished! But that's mainly because I'm Dutch and I've made lots of graphics for it.

Of course I'm looking forward to these others sets as well.

I did vote dutch set (duh) but is anyone expecting us to drop our tools if the poll dictates in favour of another set?

I don't care. I'm so confused by all these topics. I want to help to draw something but there's just too much to do.

No? Really? >_>

I would try to draw something, but the topics are too big, there's too many sets and I don't know anything about trains, beyond TTD. So overall it's just confusing. :?
