How can I make TTD harder?

I tried everything from the custom menu. But the AI of the competitors is simply terrible! I wonder if there is any method to increase the IQ of those dumbs managers? Please help! (and excuse my poor english)

No.
You cannot make the AI any better, but you can make TTD harder for you by adjusting those settings and/or making everything more expensive through TTDAlter

There are so many ways, try the scenario patchman made , that was pretty hard

If you have a very fast computer, you could use "aiboost n" where n is how much to increase the ai's intelligence. It doesn't do much, unfortunately. I find I can get "aiboost 6" in on my PC without the game slowing down.

This switch is deprecated, and does not work as intended. Do not use it.

and short info from wiki after releasing alpha 12:

From TTDPatch 2.0.1 alpha 12 onwards this switch has been completely disabled.
