Hey, amazing work with the industrial track set! Is there any chance you'll add support for the "Standard Gauge Modern" North Korean tracks?

Hey Erato, a HUGE thank you for your amazing work, everything looks so more consistent/eyecandy that's lovely. One question : I'm struggling to fill some ugly diagonal grass part next to some ISR rails. I tried with the trackless tracks but the combination is not authorized (impossible to combine these rails). Not sure if it is expected ? Otherwise any idea how I could fill these ? (saw some of your screenshots where you don't have them)
I'm using industrial trackset 1.4 and trackless tracks 1.2. trying to combine Standard Gauge ISR and Industrial Station Renewal Ground

Thanks anyway :)

It would probebly just show up with the isr tracks because openttd only allows one railtype per tile (some patchpacks let you have multible on the same tile).

Exactly. If you use JGR's patch pack then you can put multiple tracktypes on the same tile.

I'm aware that there's a similar NewGRF on BaNaNaS, but it only has houses and for some reason it's year dependent. I don't understand year dependent objects, it's dumb.

All houses and industry tiles have been translated into object tiles. I might make some new object tiles, but currently there's pretty much no original tiles.

hello

difference between nml and hex nfo is too much, i not get any wins with latter. is possible that you make mars stations in to not replace original but be custom station? i want to use the train stations and road stops in non-mars future

if not no big deal sorry for bugging you

I just got hired at ProRail as an ERTMS system specialist. To celebrate, I made a small newgrf to add ETCS block markers (as seen on the Dutch HSL-Zuid) as signals, and Eurobalises as waypoints.

Hi Erato,
Strange request because of the unusual set of NewGRFs that I am using... Would it be too much to ask for you to add an option to the industrial dual gauge trackset that doesn't have the industrial ground? In other words, just normal dual gauge tracks? I'm having trouble using some other dual gauge track sets because of introduction dates and vehicle compatibility problems, but the industrial track set works perfectly no matter what I throw at it. It just looks rough when used in non-industrial settings, particularly with non-full-tile-width bridges. If the answer is no, I understand, but the addition would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think the one with all gauges uses the standardized roadtype labels, I looked and the other set ("omni-gauge", if that's what you were trying) seems to predate that part of the standard. Not sure why it hasn't been updated. To be honest, it would be great if it did, all-gauge train stations would be really handy.

I was actually messing around with the Japanese track sets--I might look into "omni-gauge" since trouble continues to brew:

I've run into another problem, though: I'm trying out SETS (https://brickblock1.github.io/Standardi ... Set--SETS/) for my narrow gauge tracks and if I include the industrial track set at all[i/] it takes precedence, and the SETS narrow gauge goes unused in favor of the dual gauge tracks. Since I'm only using the industrial track set for its functioning dual gauge, this is suboptimal.

I wouldn't recommend it. I got in contact with it's author, he's not as bad as you'd think but he has explained that he was hoping to introduce a project to be the successor to omni-guage. The track set in question, however, has reached a dead end without any avenues to properly receive bug reports; needless to say it's a controversial situation. You're simply better off not touching it or it's source code and make a replacement from scratch, the moment you involve this individual's projects it causes everyone to go nuts.
