North American Passenger Railroads Set dev. thread

Post by Tony Pixel » 14 Nov 2017 15:02

Hello and welcome to the North American Passenger Railroads.
This set (coded in NML) collects former and current passenger rolling stock of north american (USA, Canada and Mexico) class I railroads.
Don't think what it is NARS-based set. There are tracking table of set, which will be updated every time anything change.
If you want to see the another livery or vehicle, found bug or want to say Your opinion about the set - write here.

How far back will this go, just Metro-North or its predecessor railroads as well? Like the Pennsylvania and New York Central, because I have a few sprites to provide if you want them :)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metro-Nor ... ling_stock. If you can send those sprites... I think to end MN and start NYC. Now I'm making Comet II and V.

I created many other cars and will rename the project. Yes, already many NARS+ addons exist. But this set will contain oriented on passenger rolling stock.

My NARS Add-on Set is pretty much the only proper add-on, the other things like the NARS 2.5 passenger mod just modifies the capacity of the passenger and mail cars in NARS 2.5/2.51

Don't worry. As it stands there are 4 addons for JapanSet and 3 more in the making. The NA stuff is still rather tame.
No pics no clicks. Seriously. Also stop using Modern Maglev Trains. Use RIMS instead.

I think this set will be a lot cooler and interesting if its going to focus on the passenger stuff from across north america rather then just the metro stuff from around new york.

I wonder if the various paint schemes for Amtrak will also be included

The M-2 is too white, it should be more darker, grey-like. I'll try to repaint it.

It's way better like this. I'm going to compliment you, you're a really good artist, and yet your work is promising.
I think the M2 from the US Train Set (you can find it on the online content downloader) is too gray.

Also, i'f you're planning to do SEPTA stuff, i may do the Silverliners II/III, IV and V.
