Michael and I, along with many others have had this debate before I very much doubt half platforms will appear.
Yes. Apart from their visual appearance, half platforms don´t fit my programming model and would require a lot of extra work. Even though the needed sprites are all there, it´s not just copy&paste inside the code framework.

At least for v0.5 this feature won´t be available.

I have been awaiting it all day, feverishly F5-ing (or cmd+r here) the ttdpatch.de download site. Played some LoMo in the meantime to distract myself but not get totally out of the loop.

Thanks very much for your interest, guys.

Here´s a local shipyard, put together from NewStations v0.6 freight sheds and some MariCo stuff.

given the previous records, the bus you're expecting will take another few years ;)

What's the status of NewShips these days? On your site there is no way to download it.

I see it is time to start downsizing games - rather than having giant maps with hundreds of towns/industries, it will be all about the "scene" - smaller networks that look nicer, rather than giant, busy monstrosities.

I like it.

Two years ago, there was an update (v0.48) which added ECS and FIRS compatiblity and cargo graphics. In addition, there´s an inland vessel included, but no other enhancements or additions.

OTOH, there´s a newer/bigger ship set (NewShips XL, v0.5) in the works, where some of MariCo´s ship objects having been drawn from (see picture above).

I´m just adding a couple of small freight stations to NewStations, and one of them is this one with 1 or 2 non-track tiles:
negoce_dagricole.png

Now, I need some translations for its name.

In German, I´d like to use a very generic name: "Landhandel" (see http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landhandel) (literally "agricultural trade" (most of the time set up by a regional cooperative), i.e. something like "agricultural retail", "farm supply", .. ?). Unfortunately, in this case, there´s no link from the German Wikipedia to other languages. En Francais, je le voudrais nommer "négoce d'agricole". Spanish and Italian should be similar to French, but who knows?

Any advice?

regards
Michael
