Trivia Quiz Question - Just for fun (this is NOT a game)

Post by Dave »

Someone suggested a good pub quiz question on the 'Book earlier, that being: how many colours can be found in the NAMES of London Underground stations?

I've got four, the guy has got five... Can anyone beat it?

DON'T put your answers down, just say how many you've got ... we'll give it a couple of days, and then the person with the most can list them.

Comprendez?

Are we talking individual colours or how many stations have colours in their names? If it's the latter I've got 5 if it's the former I've got 3.
Edit: Scrap that seeing as there are a lot of " xxx Green" I'm guessing it's the latter.

Edit 2: OK, I'm done, 4 different colours.

I've got 5 aswell, but could go to 7 depending on how strict the rules were. (2 of them are not technically colours but are colour descriptions according to dulux :) )

There's a sixth if you include the DLR.

Suppose there's no point dragging it out:

Black (as in Blackfriars)
White (as in Whitechapel)
Gold (as in Golders Green)
Green (as in Golders Green and loads of others haha)
Red (as in Redbridge)

The DLR also has West Silvertown

I had Blackhorse Road, Green Park and White City for mine, Golders Green was the first I got, (2 with one stone ;))

Edit: Redbridge was the one I couldn't get without Wikipedia.
