The OpenGFX set is meant to be similar to the original, but just drawn a bit differently to get rid of (c) issues. Similarity is needed to get quickly familiar with the new graphics.

Try disabling/enabling the terrain graphics during a game. In particular watch the fields. They most clearly stand out as different. You should easily be able to see the differences by switching between the .grfs in-game.
I couldn't help noticing a slight alignment issue with the horizontal abutments (that's what you call the startpiece of a bridge, right?). Apart from that, good job!
Do you have sprites for the wooden bridge? I just PM'd Norfolksouthern37 about his wooden bridges (It's a deck style, not that odd covered bridge that TTD uses) and would match these perfectly.
