Alright, i used the World Airliners Set Alpha 2.
How is it that in one game the Airbus A380 800F plane costs like 5 Million, and in another its around 600 000? I just dont get it.

Re: Airplanes cost a fortune?
Few possibilities:
- you use different currencies, so just the displayed value is higher
- the game is with inflation, time is different, vehicles get more expensive over time when playing with inflation
- a different difficulty level is used, thus vehicles are more or less expensive
- base costs are modified via a newgrf which makes it more or less expensive than default.

Re: Airplanes cost a fortune?
k
Maby you want to try it for yourself , i have openttd installed on 2 computers,(i play 1 game on both of them) on the laptop it will give me around 3 million euro to buy the huge airbus, on the desktop computer id pay around 600 000 for it. Next to that i start the year in 2050(just so i get all things available) So im sorta suprised i need millions in one game, and only 600 000 for the other.

Are you sure that you're playing with the exact same version of OpenTTD and WAS, with the exact same settings, and no NewGRFs that might modify costs, inflation etc.?

Re: Airplanes cost a fortune?
Both the savegames would be useful to determine the cause. My guess is inflation and different years. Can you tell us for example how much does a bus or a train costs?
