Naw, too much work for those I could, although I once did for the Total Bridge Replacement Set or whatever it's called. I doubt it'll happen again, customizing OpenTTD itself is work enough already

Yes.
- I modified TTRS, to allow buildings to be built before 1930.
- I largely modified FIRS, to reintroduce closure of all types of industries (not only secondary, but also primary), and changing some appearance probabilities.

i modified alpinew.grf to skip the industry part and FIRS to ignore the presence of alpine, so they can be used alongside each other.

I was thinking about reintroduction of closure of primary industries too. And modified Dutch road furniture to use with ARRS (only partially)

I've modified FIRS to change production values and items produced as well as removing a few industries I don't have need for. I also reduced/changed production levels in some cases and eliminated production boosts by eliminating engineering and farm supplies.
I've also modified OGFX industries to prevent output levels from changing...but that also stops them from closing down.

That's possible? I always fought that farmtile placement was something handled by OpenTTD itself, basically, independent of NGRFs ...Roslav wrote:...set farms to build farmtiles gradually.

There is a property spec_flags(...) in NML:industries IND_FLAG_PLANT_FIELDS_PERIODICALLY. If there is not flag IND_FLAG_PLANT_FIELDS_WHEN_BUILT defined, the farm will start without any fields and build them over time. Maybe the term farmtile I used is misleading. I had modified UKRS2 to increase the speed limit of the Express Mail Car... but then Pikka went and did it himself, so...
Let's see, other than that, I also modified Generic Cars to increase the speeds of the cars a bit, and I think I mucked around with Av8 long ago, but I don't quite remember what I was changing.

I've taken liberty of some of RobC's code in the past, with his permission. I modified his lorry/bus terminals to create my own Truck & Bus Lots (really just removing all but the ground itself). I took his statue replacement and made it a USA Flag instead. I took his interpretation of the helipad and turned it into a air mast for dirigibles and blimps. I took his radio antenna and turned it into a rock. All of this work is released in my own topic with appropriate licenses.
I started an attempt to revamp RSpeed Tycoon's Fake Airports, but it's currently on hiatus. I hit an issue with the code and just haven't had time to fix it, and honestly I probably forgot just about all the NFO I learned. I'm willing to donate all that to somebody else who wants to take a crack at it. I also have permission from Skidd13 to adapt/modify the Combined Airports set. Planetmaker has expressed interest in combining both into OpenGFX+ Airports if somebody is willing to draw rotated views of all the sprites to match those of OpenGFX+ Airports.

I've been doing it for the last 6 months.
First I take a look at my favorite NewGRF's, then I download the full source code, preferably in NML.
Then for example on OpenGFX+ Industries I completely rewrite everything to my own taste and I do this:
