building roads

Hi all,

is there a script that automatically builds roads between the towns in an existing scenario?
If yes, where can I download it and what do I have to do to embed it into the scenario and start the road building?

My AI, CivilAI, builds roads between towns. However, it also builds buses, and builds roads at a relatively slow rate, connecting at most two towns per year.

If you just wanted to connect towns as fast as possible, or you wanted non-company owned roads, I reckon this would be a fairly straightforward gamescript to write. Perhaps you should have a go? :)

Hi PikkaBird,

I just tried your script, the problem is as you said, I didn't want busses and I wanted to build up a road network in a short period of time.

But I don't have any idea how to write such a script.

Maybe try the CityConnectorAI?

this one only build local roads round the company, 14 AI's is too less for 330 towns on a 1024x1024 scenario
