Doesn't station under bridges is already feasible ? Just that the devs are afraid that station height would be a problem visually ?

Objects can have a bridge above them. As they have a property which allows to define their height - and bridges which pass them at a greater height can then be built over them. I mean ships - there is glitch if large ships pass under bridge.

not easily. you have to modify the movement rules and the pathfinder for ships, you have to add a property for newgrfs, and it won't affect existing ship newgrfs.
also, it won't prevent ships glitching in other places, because they are larger than their bounding box.
