Hello I have problem with the newest patch. I played with it but one day its showed me on the screen this :

Could you post a screenshot ?

And give us more info :

Patch version number
windows or dos version of Patch and TTD
your ttdpatch.cfg file
your crashxxx.txt file, if it excists

You have Win2k=off.
Aren't you using windows XP or windows 2000 ?
If so use Win2k=onn instead.

Oops typo

Should be win2k=on.
TTD doesn't work on the "modern" Operating systems, therefore this switch.
Change Win2k=off to Win2k=on, and it will work. (in your ttdpatch.cfg file)

nlp = not loaded properly.

Means TTDPatch can't start.
a) TTDPatch can't find code normally provided via stdin from the Loader.
b) Entry points can't be found.
c) Some strange other error I can't think of currently

You aren't using any fancy shell stuff?
Do you have a virus scanner with permanent protection?

You can find at "Source Code" the lastest version, maybe the problem is already solved....

Oh, I forgot to tell that: Before "TTDpatch nlp!" it it asks me that I want to start the ttdpatch and I typed "y" and after I must type "Enter" or "ESC" and I typed "Enter" and then is the time of nlp

You are using Windows ME, so you don't need win2k on

I downloaded it. Now the error is :

Ttdloadw has caused an error in TTDLOADW.OVL.

get other version of TTD, maybe from other place, and be sure having proper version of the Patch (DOS for DOS TTD, WIN for WIN TTD)
also remove ttdloadw.ovl and ttdpttxt.dat ...
