My collected patches (Version: 2004-08-03, Win32 binary)

Post by Celestar »

Hi, I've finally realized what the problem with my patch files are.

He's a collection of my patches that should work for the Windows users.

Here's an updated version of the patches

Changes:
-Fixed some bug with the scheduled ship view window that would crash the program
-Added new window captions for the scheduled vehicle list views. They now list "Station Name" - "Vehicle Type" when you list vehicle of a specific station. They still read "Player Company Name" - "Vehicle Type" when viewing all vehicles.
-The "Vehicles" button in the Stats window now opens all lists for scheduled vehicles.

Now with the multi road stops patch. Warning: this is a very early version. Save/Load does not work yet.

Here we go with a new version, fixed numerous bugs, and added save/load capabilities.

Warning:
1) This is no official patch yet, so savegame compatibility might be limited.
2) It might not work with languages other than english. I'd like to have some feedback there.

What does it do:
-A patch option modifies the catchment area of stations. Road stops have 3 tiles, train stations 4, docks 5, airports from 3 (heliport) to 8 (international). With combined stations, the largest counts (an airport with 50 bus terminals, which is pretty common and 8 train platforms and 120 truck loading stations still remains an airport)
-Another order option "Transfer". It makes the train dump the cargo on the station regardless of station acceptance. It's highly customizable, as the train does not need to leave empty again
-Detailed station statistics display the amount of monthly cargo and vehicles per station and show a list of all vehicles scheduled to that specific station.
-A system checks all vehicle order for nonsensical commands which result from deleted stations for example. Also vehicles that have no orders are mentioned.
-A station can now have up to 8 bus stops and 8 truck stops. Road vehicles automatically choose a stop based on distance and traffic volume.

Bugfixes:
-A minor bugfix that causes goods arriving a very large station not be transported to the right industries.
-Stuck road vehicles have been fixed.

While I still have my OS/2 installation media somewhere, I can't seem to find a compiler for it ;)

If it's only that, use the Open Watcom compiler. :D
