Hello all,i am playing openttd for many years now, over the years with updating new releases i have notice that loading and unloading of planes and trains espically have been too slow,is there any way or any patch i can make it fast or make them to load all in once like in transport tycoon.
PS i have already changed the gradual loading but still too slow.
cheers

If your train is longer than the station, it will load slowly.
Some NewGRF vehicles have modified load speeds, some can be very fast to load, and some can be very slow to load.

Re: Loading/Unloading is too slow
check the setting for "gradual loading", otherwise the GRF will have no effect.

Re: Loading/Unloading is too slow
In the last 6 years, as I know the game, nothing has changed about loading speed. Only the option to evenly load all vehicles at the station has been removed, but this doesn't apply to speed.pilot777300lr wrote: 09 Nov 2020 09:52 (...) i have notice that loading and unloading of planes and trains espically have been too slow (...)
Currently, vehicles in most sets load faster than the default ones.
Changing the loading speed is offered, among others, by additions from the 2CC series (trains, buses, trams) - there, the charging can be immediate. I don't remember all of them at the moment, but very fast charging will also be in Auz Trains, Dutch Trainset, V4 Trains and Light Road Vehicles, and probably some others. Faster than standard, but not instant, Iron Horse and NARS will have, and from the road vehicles: HEQS, Ikarus Set and Polroad.
I am sorry for may English. I know is bed.
