Approval before build?

Good day to everyone of you.

I have one issue, I hope you will be able to assist me with this.
I am playing OpenTTD on Linux laptop with touchscreen support. I tried Android and Windows version for touchscreen devices and there is an option to "confirm before building" roads, airports, railways etc.. Can I activate that option on normal Openttd? It wuold be very usefull for me.
