When will the "vehicle renewal" feature be implemented - you see, it's a bit awkward to manually renew 80+ road vehicles/trains... :?

Yes it does. Even though no one seems to have noticed that no vehicles are invented in 1920 yet. :D The default starting year is back to 1950 btw.

Woo!

Emm, it misses the changelog, the changelog.txt don't include 0.3.2.1 canges, only the one from 0.3.2, also some of the enters in that TXT files are not simple ones, but the ones wordpad does, that just makes a [].
Alcohol is not the answer, it just makes you forget the question.

what error do you get? It's hard to fix anything if you don't know what went wrong :?

Yes :) Its very hard :) So, there is the output:

{trava}/home/ter/games/ottd-0.3.2.1> ./ttd
ELF interpreter /libexec/ld-elf.so.1 not found
Аварийное завершение
{trava}/home/ter/games/ottd-0.3.2.1>

So, i think i see problem - binary compiled for FreeBSD 5.x, but my system is 4.9:

{trava}/home/ter/games/ottd-0.3.2.1> file ttd
ttd: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (FreeBSD), for FreeBSD 5.0.2, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped

You need to add description to binary, not only "freebsd", but "freebsd-5.x" for example.
And compile two binaries, i thinks most peoples sitting at 4.x at this thime..

FreeBSD - core dumped if /dev/dsp not configured

Post by ter »

I have not /dev/dsp configured, i have not sound card at all, on my FreeBSD pc :)
I need to run ttd like this: "./ttd -s null" , if not, after i makeing quit from the game,
i have "core dumped" message. I think more correctly to detect what system have not
sound card (it detected already, i see "/dev/dsp: Device not configured") and automaticly
switch to -s null.

That was my bad, on the FreeBSD for 4.x. I had meant to install 4.9 now 4.10 so I could build for both 4.x and 5.x systems, but forgot about, until this weekend. Which hopefully I'll have 4.10 installed and all packages compiled by lunch, so I can build ottd.
