Windows Store build with Project Centennial
Hi, is anybody tried converting OpenTTD to a Windows Store app with Project Centennial? I'd think it would worth a shot, there may be some interest both in the development/deployment process and installing the game from Windows Store. I didn't deep dive into the topic but based on the documentation it should be straightforward.

Re: Windows Store build with Project Centennial
Kodi is licensed under the GPL, and recently used this very same technology to get into the Windows Store. A quick Google suggests that publishing to the Windows Store isn't incompatible with the GPL. VLC is another popular GPL application that is available on the Store. Of course, any code modifications necessary to get OpenTTD in there we'd need to publish.
It looks like we'd need to contact Microsoft and they would basically 'set us up' to get OpenTTD in. Whether we would want to, I'm not sure. I would be willing to take this forward if desired.

So, is it possible to make the OTTD isn't compatible with GPL and build it?
Will it violate GPL license?

I'm not a lawyer, but the suggestion seems to be that you can submit GPL apps to the Windows Store, and the Windows Store terms and conditions are not incompatible with the GPL.
