Do you repay your loan?

Post by uncle_adolph »

Well, this is my first post on here. But i have been playing TT and TTD for a LONG time, and i was wondering if all you masters out there repay your loan. Because i do.

Ive added a 56 day poll.

Um. Of course. Why pay interest that you don't need to? :|

Why worry about interest if you can make far more money by investing instead of repaying the loan? I always take out as much loan as I can spend.

Aha, but I think he meant later on in the game. When a few hundred thousands don't matter anymore. In the beginning it is the more loan the faster you earn it back.
I heard the stories that they tell of how they labored for this company which sold it's soul to hell

Alcohol is not the answer, it just makes you forget the question.

Ehhh but when you start making a huge profit and have lots of money you should pay it back ;)

True, once I stop caring about I always pay it back, just to get the full performance score.

I always have my loan paid off and a stable income within the first 5 - 10 years of the game.

I repay it asap. But sometimes I don't get the change to repay, because I am failliet.

I'm spending money until I've about 5 trains and 10 busses and then I've a steady income, then I wait and repay my loan.

I have never used the money cheat, the only one I use is the tracks one and I make it cost money.

I don't setup a passenger/mail service first I start with coal -> power station.

They seem to get income quite quickly, but then I build the passenger network when a subsity comes up so I get more than the normal cost.

The largest loan I have ever taken out was $700 000. I have it set to the $1 000 000 limit but I have never used that much.
