SimCity 2000 for Windows anyone??

Post by gasp »

Does anybody have SimCity 2000 for WINDOWS 95?? I looked for it @ Google but the only thing I got is the DOS version (surprisingly music AND sound effects work - even in Windows XP :o), but the mouse pointer is too slow. Damn, I have a copy of it in my 486, but the video card is broken and it won't boot

I had it...
And I believe so does shadow...

Look in stores / on your fav filesharing network. I'm positive it's online @ p2p networks.

I have the CD of the DOS version. And I highly recommend you to use the DOS version instead the windows one because the GUI has been converted and it is horrible.

Make a boot CD to boot at DOS and play the DOS version.

I have it on CD (both the Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 version), and the entire CD is only 38MB. RARing up the Windows 95 version gives me a 6MB file. I'm just getting rid of things like the SimTower demo, to pack the size down even more... it's now 4.62MB. I'll upload it soon.

spiff: SC2000 is pretty much abandonware these days.

EDIT: gasp, I've PM'd you the URL.

Frighteningly quick if it is abandonware already. Maybe this is a natural trend with games now.
Incidently i have the game too, will upload if Owen does not.
