HI,
I´m new to the community.
When running Open TTD the Sound (not the Music) of the game is very very low.
In order to hear something i have to put the volume Level of my Sound System to the max ( 400W Speaker System) and even then the Sounds of the cars, Trains and ships are very low (silent)
It´s an Creative Soundblaster X-FI Card with an 7.1 Speaker System.
Can anyone help me?

Re: Sound problem
Do you actually hear the sounds, or are they completely silent? Because if they are silent, I think you have selected NoSound as soundset and that set has no sounds in it, as the name actually shows.
You can see which soundset is active in the Game Options menu.

Re: Sound problem
did you check the volume settings in OpenTTD's jukebox?
Re: Sound problem
Also if you run Windows, go to the sound options and expand the mixer to a per-program basis. Occasionally Windows will bug out and set the volume of an application very low while it shouldn't be.
