AI Is not working

I just added some AI's on the list and took them into the list with the active AI's. But they are not appearing in game. Does it take long until they show up or did I something wrong ?

1) By default AIs start about 365 days after the previous company. So the first AI will start a year after you and then the next one a year after that.

2) When an AI starts, that means that the AI logic starts. Most AIs need to first find a good pair of industries/towns to connect and do a detailed path finding before they start to build. Some AIs build their HQ just when the AI starts while others wait until they have completed their first connection to/from a town.

It is when an AI makes its first build action, that the news message about a new company appears. Thus both 1) and 2) will contribute to the delay. AIs that construct their HQ in the largest town will appear to start quicker than those that build it in the first town they connect.
