Hi, I have a few ideas:

1: avoid road file types, if there are alternative ways, they let us use these roads.

2: If you connect two cities, you can use competitors connection, making toll roads which the competitor pays you to use roads.

3: roads that only one company may use

4: the ability to borrow from / to other players money. this is annual interest paid.

5: starting a server easy for the whole world.


6: servers that anyone can cheat.


7: a city can "buy". if someone wants to put in that city, a line must cede 50 percent vanzijn profit to the owner of the city.

8: aircraft can transport everything for a high price

9: If there are two airports to be built next to each other is aggregated and the traffic is distributed

For the people that don't understand Dutch and don't completely understand what Google made of this Dutch text, here's my translation.

1: Road vehicles try to avoid creating a traffic jam if alternative routes are available.

2: If you connect two cities by road, a competitor can use your road and pays you to use your road.

Dutch: ik vind het opzich een leuk idee, maar dan zou bij punt 1. Mijn 4baans snelweg uitsterven. Verder, geweldig idee, vooral de tol gebouwen/wegen.

English: i like the idea, yet the first idea would possibly be the end of my highways. Further, great idea, esspecially the toll booth.
Maybe you should try something else, or at least, think in a different way. like someone with autism, it could be usefull.

Welcome to forum.

You should put new feature request here bugs.openttd.org
But I can tell you, that it's better if you try to implement them yourself, cause developers have much other things to do :-). New features are mostly rejected, because they would break game save compatibility with previous versions.

Here is another feature requests overview.

As you a new in forum, I would like to give you a tip. Try to google or use this forum search engine to find you question, because I am almost sure that most of newcomers questions have already been asked and discussed :-)

Welcome to the forums vamos.
1: Road vehicles try to avoid creating a traffic jam if alternative routes are available.
They already do?
If I put a drivethrough station somewhere and the two slots are filled form one side the vehicle will go around and enter form the other side (provided there are roads to accomodate for this behaviour). Also I do believe they try to avoid congested routes and do take a detour if available because of the route being cheaper (cheaper in penalties).
2: If you connect two cities by road, a competitor can use your road and pays you to use your road.
Infrastructure sharing patch; but it is still having issues and untill now those issues are not fixed (shared transfer money and all that).
3: Roads that only one company may use.
I do not like this idea, what if I replace all the roads i a town with my own? How are you going to compete with me?
Does not sound like a lot of fun in MP.
4: The ability to borrow money from / to other players. An annual interest is paid over the loan.
You borrow money from the bank.
In MP you can give money to other players if the server has this setting on.
5: Making it easy for the whole world to start a server.
I am not sure how to make it more easy.
As it is now you start a server, advertise it and done.
6: Servers where anyone may cheat.
what do you mean by cheat? Heaps of money?
Just prepare a savegame and cheat a lot of money for everyone before loading that game on the server.
7: You can buy a city. If anyone else creates a line in your city, that company must give 50% of the profits it makes of your city.
Cities can be funded for a smackton of money; if the server has the setting enabled.
8: Aircraft can transport everything for a high price.
There are NewGRF that do exactly this; they can set prices as high or as low as you want.
For this specific case you want a 'basecost' NewGRF combined with a 'transport all goods' one.
9: If you build two airports next to each other, they become one airport and the traffic is evenly distributed.
Airports are already such big money makers and pretty unbalanced in comparison with the other means of transportation.
This is why there are other restrictions in place; eg. big aircraft crashing more often on small airports, more recently a max distance they can fly before needing to touch down was introduced IIRC.
Allowing or making this possible would only increase the inbalance?



While Muzzly is right that a search will show you much info, be aware that some suggestion made before that were labeled as impossible or too much work are now possible via other means (AI, NewGRF, Scripting), especially if you combine them.
As I see it now (I admit I have been out of the loop for a bit) people are barely using all of the options available that were implemented the last few years.
It is prefectly possible to make 'levels' in the true meaning of the word.
Some people are doing this already but they can take it a lot further then they do; it takes time to debug and test and make sure that the game (sript/scenario) remains fun to play and does not set some impossible goal, this is a slow process.
