Derailment at York today involving the support coach being hauled by Union of South Africa.

Luckily, this one didn't burst into flames. Still though, can't be putting rail-touring companies in a good light right now.

See, the problem here is "support coach" is an instruction, not a description.

The text on the carriage is inaccurate also. It certainly isn't "evenly distributed"

This all happened about 10m behind me yesterday (thursday). Weird really as trains of all varieties (HST, 91+Mk 4s, TPE 185s, Voyagers, 66s on heavy freight, even a s*** 150/2) had used platform 10 all morning at varying speeds with no bother at all, and when Union of South Africa passed through it was at a very low speed.

It was obviously rerailed successfully as it trickled through platform 11 at York (directly behing my desk) this morning with no bother whatsoever.
