need help

Hi I need help with one of my city's.It has been appalling for 10 years not.I try clear all the tress and nothing working. adverting, road reconstruction and bribe are just wasting money.I rally need to build in the town is there a way around this.

welcome to the forums.

As for being in the wrong section ... that depends what game you are playing.
Have a look at the board index to see all sections of the forums. Once you know what section your thread needs to be in a moderator can move it for you, no need to make a new one.

For now, I assume you are playing OpenTTD.
Clearing all trees is exactly what you do not want to do.
Instead plant trees all over the place to make towns happy.
Also try having more than one station in the town (busses and truck) and visit them regulary.

As a final resort you could always cheat ... not sure if that is what you are looking for?

I am playing openttd

I am unable to but rail bus or airport in the town.When I do local authority refuses to allow this

I have planted trees for a 100x100 blocks around the town but not working.

I need this town I nearer cheat I think in the case I may have to.And how would I go about doing it.

You open the cheat menu by pressing CTRL+ALT+C. http://wiki.openttd.org/Cheat
The magic bulldozer lets you remove stuff you would otherwise not be able to remove.

You could also have a look at the build while paused options in the advanced settings (although I am not sure if this will let you build your busstops)

You can rename your savegame from .sav to .scn and load it in the scenario editor for more freedom at no cost without being bothered by the towns authority. note that you will not be able to build infrastructure in the scenarioeditor. Rename it back to .sav when your done and continue playing.

If you do not want to cheat just leave the town be for a while, do something elswhere on the map, and when you come back in a year or so the town will be much happier.

Also, try avoiding to bribe too much as each time you are cought you will have to wait a long time again before you can get your ratings back up.

How you change the name from .sav to .scn when I try to save it as edit.scn the flies is edit.scn.sav can not find any way in windows.
I am use windos 7 64 bit. Sorry for noob questions.

You do this outside of openttd not while saving because then the savegame's name turns out like this: "name.scn.sav" instead of "name.scn".

Simply changing the extention of the file will do.
Best close OpenTTD first or at least make sure that you are in the main menu while doing this.

so far no luck I was abull to build bus stop but the rating have not want up it been over 1 year.Is there any thing more I can do.

More busstops and more spread out so a bigger area of the town is covered by the station's coverage areas. Have your busses do a loop between them. if you can not build them now go do something else again and try in a bit; your rating will go up but do not expext it to be oustanding in instantly (use fast forward if you are impatient).
Do the same with truckstops and mail.

Also maybe place a statue in the town if you have not already.
