Server message when a company goes bust.

Post by kirbyman62 »

Hi all,

Just a small suggestion. I run a server, and I've been playing around making a program to get the companies and clients currently connected by reading a log created. It all works fine, but I can't properly keep track of companies because when a company goes bust nothing is said. I tested it and just got a message saying the client connected to that company had joined the spectators, and I use that.

Unless I'm mistaken and I just missed it, but my test was just a day or two ago on 1.2.3 and I'm quite sure I didn't see anything.

Thanks :)

If I remember correctly, there is a command to list all companies. One solution to work with the current feature set is to request a list of all companies whenever you see that someone join the spectators from a company.

If you use the admin port instead of parsing some log you would get that information.

That looks very useful, thanks, though I haven't learned about network programming yet, but I've bookmarked it for when I do :)
