Council 'kills off' hovercraft plan for Firth of Forth

I got to say, this is most disappointing news.

Probably hasn't been helped by the fact the Tram won't now be running out to Portobello either!

Doesn't seem terribly clever considering the congestion on the existing Forth Bridges. But then Portobello is a bus ride from central Edin.
