Can´t play against others

Hi,

I've just installed OpenTTD but when I start the game the opponents are not available, they just don't work! I don't want to play alone. Can anyone help me?

Click on the button in the bottom right in of the main menu. It opens up a list of AddOn content created by the community. At the top you find several AIs that you can select and download.

After that you can click the AI Settings button in the main menu and select which AIs to include in new games.

Do you mean the "check online content" button? because when i click the list is empty.

Yes that button.

Sometimes it takes a while (read up to 30 seconds) before the list loads. If it take even more, there is likely a firewall at your side (or your ISP) that blocks the traffic.

As an alternative you can download AIs from here: http://bananas.openttd.org/en/ai/ . However, make sure you also download the libraries needed by each AI. Also mind that some AIs need older versions than the last library version. To download older versions you need to find a page where also old versions are available for download (I didn't find it now in a quick look)

I couldn't connect to the server but I downloaded AIs from the website you said, i think its going to work now
