how to edit a save file?

Hello,

I´m playing OpenTTD and want to edit an advanced configuration (station maximum size) within a save game.

Is it possible? How can I do it?

Load your save game. Then left click and hold on the third icon from the left on the main toolbar. From there you want to select Advanced Settings -> Stations -> Max Station Spread and increase the number you will find there. 64 is the maximum setting but be warned (the game itself will warn you of this as well) that the larger the station spread the greater the possibility that your game will slow down. I usually keep mine at the maximum of 64 and have noticed no noticeable slowdown on a fairly powerful computer. Your mileage may vary depending on your computer's specs. Welcome to the forums.
