google earth

Post by grebibo »

What are your favorite places to view on google earth? I like to look at ships at naval bases, and I've seen Niagra Falls and the Himalya Mnts. If you have exact addresses to anything that is even fairly unknown that is cool. I just want some neat stuff to check out. If you are into astronomy, as I am, you can also mention something in the "sky" portion of Google Earth.

Hmm, I was hoping the clip of Michael McIntyre doing his Street View routine from his show a couple of weeks ago would be on YouTube, but apparently not. Those who have seen it though will know to what I'm referring.

Belgrade (of course). There is one part which is almost completely done in 3D. Other interesting places I remember at first moment are: Dubai and its artificial islands, Antarctica and Greenland, Moscow with its circle shape, New York (unfortunately, my connection is not fast to support 3D view), Brasilia...

seeing how many times they go through a red light while taking the image.

Yes I have seen their 4x4s driving around, as its not too hard to not miss all the cameras, and sure, its years old images..
