Where did my status bar go?

I seem to have somehow turned off the status bar. How did I do that? How do I get it back?

This is not the messages full/summary/off switch. I have no status bar at all. Toggling all messages to full/summary/off does not bring the status bar back. I'm guessing there is a hotkey or option setting somewhere, but I'm darned if I can find it.

are you running windowed mode? have you made the window larger than the visible area?

That was it. The Win7 taskbar was covering up the OpenTTD status bar. Resizing the Window slightly did the trick.
