Feel free to watch it, but it's completely useless if your goal is to write an AI. That video has nothing to do with "scripting" or "coding" at all.

I've just seen the videos where he talks about scripting. That doesn't change my opinion though: if your goal is to write an AI for OpenTTD those videos are worthless.
