can i modify max trains number in a .sav?

i've hited the 500 trains i had configured when i started a game some time ago.

The problem is that now i cant build more trains, even if i change the maxtrains config in the options

I had the 'vehiclesexpire' ON too...but i turned off and it worked on the saved game but maxtrains doesnt

Can you post savegame?

Be sure to change the advanced options from within the game. - not from the main menu. The main menu settings only affect new games; apart from a few gui settings that are not stored in the save games.

already did that , it worked for 'vehicles expire' but not for max trains

Changed 500 ---> 800 from within the game and works fine. I can buy new trains.

thats odd...i have 2000 maxtrains right now and i cant build ...

i'll try with a nigthly as you have right now...and see if it works...

the problem is: you must be inside the game to change the option.

if you change it outside the .sav on the main menu it doesn't apply to the .sav itself


thank you very much...didn't play this game for months and i was reallly sad...now i really wanted to come back to it, fix jam problems and do some more meta-gaming

P.S.: if you wanna help me tweak my network grid, thats a big kudos
