Making banks/dykes for trains to run on

Post by ride »

First of all, thank you modders for all the wonderful mods  They really add another dimension to the game!

Secondly, I'd like to ask a question. I have tried the search function, but that did not return any results. If I used the wrong search string, please forgive ;)

The thing I'd like to see is, as stated in the title, some sort of banks or dykes for my trains to run on. Normally I'd use the raise land tool. but using this gives only a vertical raise in land height, and does not give a mountain like effect (with slopes). I tried to do this all manually, but it takes forever when I have to raise every piece of land manually.

Moving on, I've seen a mountain tool in the scenario editor, but this isn't in the game itself. If somebody knows a way to also put this in the actual game, I'd be grateful. Another option would be a tool for raising a whole side of a square, instead of one of the corners.

Thanks for any help in advance!

May the force be with you.
For little boys, three things reign as supreme attention-keepers: tanks, heavy construction equipment, and trains, we all know why where here.

"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."
