Unfinished London - cool video about London's Northern Line
Just over nine minutes! It explains about the planned "Northern Heights" extension which was scrapped after WWII and follows the planned route showing the unfinished traces that are still there today.

That's quite interesting, not sure wtf the guy was doing in the middle of the M1 near the end though - that's just stupid.

Great Video, very interesting. If I weren't such an ugly guy, I'd make some of those clips about Vienna.
But damn, that guy is talking fast. Reminds me of how bad my English is.

He does talk pretty fast, I'm a native speaker and there are a couple of bits that I had to skip back a few sentences to listen again

ahh, us northerners are what makes England worth it. You southerners would miss us if we suddenly ceased to exist.JamieLei wrote:Bloody Northerners! - I'll Ilkley your Moor!Jolteon wrote:haha, I understood it quite fine, i'm from Yorkshire, where accents are quite different, although, I can understand very fast talking rastafarian accents, even when they're all vexed n ting wit i an i.

There are attempts to REOPEN this railway line - but only with your help! See: http://www.tiny.cc/orbitalroute

That's not re-opening is it...
And can you re-open something if it was never open in the first place?

Re: Unfinished London - cool video about London's Northern Line
I suppose they'd have to close as far as Mill Hill East to incorporate it to the new line (which has about as slim a chance of it being built as lobster going a week without some hot manlove). Then it would be re-opened, as per most of the Manchester MetrolinkAmeecher wrote:That's not re-opening is it...
