Railroad construction button problem...

Railroad construction button doesn't work, looks ghosted, it's the same for the bus stop buttons as well, I don't know what happened it worked fine about a year ago when I was playing with friends, now it's always like this even after reinstalling and reinstalling transport tycoon deluxe, 2 different versions for that matter. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you're playing in a year when no trains are available.
Try starting a game in 1950 or later.

Thanks, I was playing at a too early date, it works past 1925 for me.

There are avalible train GRFs for trains before 1925, one such is NARS (I think?).
