It's been a while since I played OTTD now, and just getting back into it all. I try to build main lines with several right-of-way depots along it, and earlier that was enough to keep the trains serviced. When I play now the only way I can make trains enter a depot is to make it unavoidable, or forcing them to service.
I have no clue on what to check to resolve this. All I want is my trains to go into service regularly, and not break down all over the map.
The picture attached shows a train passing the depot where it was last services close to a year ago.

Thanks! Removing a signal was all it took.
