To celebrate 30th anniversary of the Jubilee line, there is an opportunity to run London Transport Museum's 1938 Tube train along the Jubilee line. This may be the last chance to run this tube train on the Jubilee line before the line upgrades it's signalling.

There are two journeys during the day, one of which will be via a disused station at Charing Cross, where you will have the opportunity to alight, explore and take a quick photograph.

Journey times and ticket information are below

Journey 1 - (2 hours, 15 minutes)
Depart Stratford (platform14) 11.00 / (11.20 actual department)
Arrive West Hampstead 12.03
(passengers need to alight, whilst train reverses into sidings)
Depart West Hampstead 12.22
Arrive Charing Cross 12.37
(passengers have the opportunity to alight at the disused station platform)
Depart Charing Cross 13.01
Arrive West Hampstead 13.18

Journey 2 - (40 minutes non-stop)
Depart West Hampstead 13.48
Arrive Stratford (platform 15) 14.28

Tickets 25 & 10 pounds.

Sounds good, sadly next Wednesday I doubt I could spare the time to go! Maybe I could sneak down to Waterloo to see it go through.

At least try to get to a station without great chunks of steel and glass impairing your vision ;)

Good point, I forgot about that. Maybe Green Park or Bond Street then...
