Auto-convert Semaphores -> electric versions (lights)

is there any automated way, or do i have to scan all my 2038x2048 map looking for those darn semaphores

eg make a button: auto convert all semaphores-> signals (and 1 button vice-versa)

i know eye-candy problem, but i was wondering if this was possible

no, it's not possible to replace all existing signals by another type. if you placed autosignals somewhere, you can replace them the same way (with Ctrl+Drag), though.

Such a button can neither be justified by gameplay value, nor by realism, so good luck getting this idea through the devs :p

change the date that you switch to lights by default to 0 or something earlier than when you normally start to play. This will mean there is no semaphores at all in your games unless you want them, just hold ctrl as you place or select them in the signal gui.

Considering realism, you will notice that old rail routes still use semaphores even now.
