New graphics?

Hi, I am quite a fan of openttd, but I don't know how to get new graphics like other bridges and stuff in the game. Can someone please explain in simple instructions how I should do that?

what kind of new graphics do you look for?
new grf to play with 8bpp version or 32bpp graphics to play with extrazoom version?
