Hypercam and locomotion

i was wondering how do you use hypercam2 in locomotion everytime i try it doesnt want to work. it always shows a blackscreen in the play back

that is because it records your desktop that is what locomotion and many other programs do.

i don't know how to fix that.

Are you sure you configured Hypercam correctly? Did you set the width & height? Where start x & start y set to zero?

I've used Hypercam to record Locomotion videos before and I never had such a problem.

well, well, i recorded Lomo with Hycam before, but now i cant any more i have a balck images to and i can't get it solved for some reason.

Hmm, strange. What OS are you trying this on? Windows Vista?

I've sucuessfully done it on WinXP SP3 (MCE). I have yet to do so on the adjoining Win7 partition.

nope XP, i have tryed all kind of drivers and ajustments, even deleted the program , reinstalled etc, etc, it refuses to capture lomo.
But is this the only program that can do the job?, i had a other one (forgot the name) but that one captured only 30 sec (trail version).

There are probably other programs that can also do the same thing, maybe even some that are better than Hyper-cam. Hyper-cam is pretty decent for what it does, it doesn't have a time limit, and is quite configurable. Maybe this is just an incompatibility between Hyper-cam and some other program.

If so, I wonder which program it is. Obviously not something I have.

Yeah its running again, i had to update the drivers of my videocard, and for other peeps with a black clip, open hycam but dont "start paused" then start lomo and start hycam with a hotkey, that ll do the job.
