Hi I just started playing again after finding this so sorry if this question is stupid.

Why are all my competitors company value £1 and why can't I buy any stock in them the buttons are hazed out? I don't remember it being like this before when I played on my old pc.

Because you're playing OpenTTD. Try TTDPatch instead.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Their company values are stuck at 1£ because they are stupid.
And you can make it possible to buy shares here:
