NARS2 and DBset - possibly stupid question

Post by Wotan »

This might be a stupid question, but is it possible to play OTTD with both the DBset and the NARS2? I can get NARS2 to work with the Serbian set but whenever both NARS2 and DBset NARS2 is disabled with the error message "conflicting trainset grf found (dynamic engine pool)".

I thought it was possible to have literally thousands of different vehicles in the newer versions of OTTD - but am I wrong?

NARS2 has a parameter that allows you to have multiple train sets at the same time. Please look at the web page which one it is.

However, there is a reason why this is not enabled per default. Purchase and running costs will be very wrong at either one or even both sets (depending on order very high or very low).

If you still want to use DBSet with NARS2, you have to set the parameter PhilSophus mentioned in NARS2 and put DBSet below NARS2 in GRF list. That should do the trick
