Waiting Cargo in Stockpile gets lower

Hi there,

I searched in the forum but couldn't find an answer.
Why is my waiting Cargo in Stockpile slowly disappearing? It's getting lower and lower until there is nothing left.
If the Cargo is a kind of food or something which can get older I wouldn't be surprised but also minerals are
disappearing. Also when I transfer Cargos to a Stockpile waiting to get transported it gets lower and lower in Stockpile.
It's annoying me, how can I get rid of it? I'm playing also with several GRFs but the "problem/feature" is also in
the main game without any addons.

Can somebody help me out? Also I wonder how much Cargo can I stock on a Train-Station?

Because your rating for that cargo is under 50%. Get your station rating above 50%, and the cargo will stop finding other ways to get where it's going.
