North England Scenario

At last I've finished it - for OpenTTD.

Here is a 510 x 1020 scenario of the North of England, from Barrow in Furness in the N-W to Lincoln in the S-E derived from a real DEM. The location of the towns are approximately correct, but not their size. The industries have been placed to make an interesting game, and you must have Pika Basic Industries v1.5 grf. Replacement Town for OpenTTD grf is also recommended. Note that there aren’t many sawmills, oil refineries or steel mills so don’t lose them by not supplying them early. Please don’t bulldoze the Pennines flat just to connect Leeds with Liverpool.

There is a screenshot of part of the map and another of Liverpool. I'll add them to the scenario page of the Wiki later - done.

You will need to use a recent nightly - it wont work with the 0.6 series stable versions.

Which version of OTTD did you use? When i try to open it i get an invalid chunk size error.

I used nightly 13884 to finalise the scenario.
I've tried it out successfully using the latest nightly (last night's)

It´s really great scenario, probably best one I ever played (except my own super scenarios ). Not too big or small map and only few cities and industries, it´s how I like it With expensive UKRS trains I felt like playing Railroad Tycoon 2 and trying to connect two distant cities with small cash

You will need a nightly to play this. It fails using v 0.6.3 with an error message to the effect that the scenario was created with a later version of OTTD.
