Post by godzi_85 »

Hi everyone,
I have almost all the graphics for TTD Windows. I want to know from where I can download the graphics for long vechicles, volvo buses and any other new graphics that have been made. can anyone give me a site from where I can download the graphics.
and keep up the good work of making gr8 graphics for the best strategy game that has ever been made. TRASPORT TYCOON DELUXE!

*ahem*

Go to this page http://ttd.cernun.net/ .

Click one of the buttons with the graphic icons saying "new" all over it. (Except the toyland one).

Then scroll the page down. And there, you'll find a downloadable file called LongVehicles.rar and one called LongVehicelsw.rar.
Download the version that fits with your TTD version.

"Unrar" (unzip) the file to your newgrf directory in your ttd folder.

Start TTD.

And that's about it.

For dos you have to rename the grf file in something shorter, for example LVehicle.grf. The same for the newgrf.txt, of course. I had some problems with the original filename, dos can only handle 8 letters in a filename.

edit: forget about that, I just have seen that Geoge has renamed the dosfile....

No, you don't, because the file for DOS is called LongVeh.grf .
