@PE:

a little fuzzy on the edges )maybe that is just my hangover). looks a ton better.

You might want to test it out in LoMo to make sure you're not hazing.
I strongly suggest that you get a few beta items out before you find that you have some huge glitches and have to recode 100+ trains..
trust me on that one. we have all done it....

@Kev0:
Kev, a lot of people have made similar comments in the past about MSTS2lomo. While they are rude/harsh/blunt.. I do tend to agree a bit.

To see someone make a a huge pack, get all excited about it, download it. Only to see it looks like a day 1 mod after all the advances is a bit disheartening. especially when they have not even coded the XML past naming the item.

You have a point about new stock. but at the same time, anyone a finger can make crap. The scene would not only be flooded with crap. i would bet most would not have permission and p*** of the MSTS world. It has happened in the past. On the opposite side of the coin, anyone with a passion and some time can make "awesome" with a few extra steps. and yes, i agree, we need more stock from all over the world!

I hate to admit it, but one reason it is hard to find a "total noob guide to making new items" is that it is assumed that if you have the patients to dig through hundreds of old posts to find all the steps, you have the patients to create a decent product. (or so the theory goes)

god i remember how sad the original US set was. It is on its 4th or so rebuild right now. while growing at the same time.

sorry to hijack your thread PE. It is already a bit of a mess ...

Save your screenshot/photo as a .png as a jpeg isn't as high quality. Could be the cause of what platiskwoman has seen

no i've found a better method. i use photoshop 2 to blur the sprites, else its just the normal msts2lomo method.

My guess would be the front one. But it is difficult to tell because of the angle of the picture, would be easier if the two engines were facing with the same angle in the picture.

By the way pe13. Did you get my mail?

I don't think blurring a train makes the quality better, just blurry? It might remove an odd artifact or two, But it will also remove your detail.

Maybe You should ask a pro with some releases out, like Illegal Alien?

Okay. Looks nice, I can clearly see it is a DSB ME-locomotive. But ? If it is too big now, does that not mean that it will look bad after you have re-sized it?

So what is the point of making it this big?

:)
