A brief question

I'm quite sure this is the correct forum area on the board to post this topic so here goes;

Q: At Fareham Train station in Fareham (funny that), there appears to be what looks like the remains of platform "four" and platform "zero", I've done a little research myself, showing that "zero" was linked to the now defunct Gosport line, but does anyone know if "four" existed and went anywhere, much like the old branch on Botley station that looks rather "peaceful" when I'm going to Basingstoke?
