No Music

Hi guys, I have installed TTD & the ttdpt20r1w patch.
I get the sound effects but no music, I've done the unifish thiingy config but at sound it says theres no midi, I change it to general midi but still get no music.. any ideas ?? When I try to RUN it from the Transport Tycoon configurater it says it cant access the cd * not that there is a cd..

Hello and welcome.

Firstly, that version of the patch is many years old. I would suggest finding a nightly or at least a 2.5 beta.

It can be difficult to impossible to get old games to play midi on modern hardware. I'd be inclined to just play the music through an external player (the .gm files in the windows version are midi files; alternatively, there are downloadable mp3 versions here).

because the game was not installled properly. You can fix it by running TTD Registry Editor: http://users.tt-forums.net/shadow/download/ttdreg.zip
